Grammy came to stay when I was 2 weeks old & helped Mommy take care of me. Thanks, Grammy!
My First Bath- December 30th
Mommy & Daddy gave me my first bath when I was one week old. I didn't like it very much!
Coming Home- December 25th
I stayed for 2 days at the hospital & got to come home on Christmas Day. Mommy & Daddy dressed me in a "My First Christmas" onesie that Lora Sundbeck gave me. When I got home, Mommy & Daddy showed me the house & my room. Grampy & Grammy were there. Grampy made Christmas dinner for everyone. The next day Mama Terri & Daddy Doug came over to see me. I was Mommy & Daddy's best Christmas gift ever!
My Delivery- December 23rd
Mommy woke up at 2AM with pains...by 3:30 she was pretty sure that it was the real deal & woke Daddy up. They started timing the contractions and they were already 4 minutes apart! Mommy called the on-call doctor & she said to come to the hospital. When they got there at 5AM, Mommy was 4cm dilated & she was moved straight to the delivery room. The contractions were getting really close together & were really painful!! Mommy finally got the epideral at 6:30 AM when she was 8 cm dilated. About an hour later she was ready to deliver but decided to wait for her doctor to arrive because she could still feel on her right side...once the epideral worked, Mommy was much happier! Dr. Baker got there at about 8:30 & Mommy started to push. I was finally born at 9:36 AM. Mommy & Daddy were both so excited!! My first visitors were Terri & Doug Flowers (Mama Terri & Daddy Doug), Pam & Bill Estes (Grammy & Grampy), Mary Caldwell, Jennifer & Chris Chaloupka, Lora & Cody Sundbeck, Laurie & Mike Willett, & Mike Navarre.
